Dear Bubblee Bubblezz,

I am writing to thank you for the service you provided at my daughter’s 3rd birthday party in January.

Hosting a birthday party for 10 toddlers was an overwhelming thought, and I wasn’t quite sure if having a clown at the party would be a good idea, as I’ve heard people say that young children have a fear of clowns. Add to that the fact that my daughter has always been stand-offish with strangers, I didn’t know if she’d be into a clown.

It turns out that I made the right decision, and your presence at Asha’s party was a great success. Your tickle trunk was a huge hit with the little ones, rifling through all the fun items and learning how to play with the various instruments and toys they discovered. As a parent, I have to say the highlight of the day was watching one of the little boys take your hand and lead you into the next room where a few kids were romping around. To see you get down on all fours, play peek-a-boo and see the kids squeal with delight was so great and unexpected. The final kicker was watching my initially timid daughter warm up to you immensely over a very brief period of time. Within 30-minutes she was running into your arms and hugging you. I was fortunate enough to capture a private little exchange between the two of you where you made her feel very special and happy, as a birthday girl should feel on her special day.

It’s been six weeks since Asha’s birthday, and she is still talking about ‘my clown that came to my birthday’. In fact you made such a lasting impression on her that any time she sees a TV show or movie with a clown, she refers to you and her special party. This is by far a much longer-lasting gift that I’d anticipated – she doesn’t recall any of the presents she received, but she does recall ‘Her Clown’, obviously her favourite gift, and now mine too!
